The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the Illinois Valley Regional Dispatch coverage area. This storm is capable of producing heavy rain, dangerous lightning, and storm damaging winds. Be prepared to move to a place of safety. This is a condition RED weather status.

Gusty south winds gusting up to 30 MPH will combine with
mild temperatures, low humidity, and plentiful dried vegetation
to produce an Elevated Fire Danger through early this evening. If
a fire were to start under these conditions, there would be an
increased threat of fire spread and be difficult to control.

Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Use extra caution while
operating outdoor equipment around dry vegetation and do not
carelessly discard ci******es.

🚑 EMS Service Update for Dalzell Residents 🚑

Beginning Sunday, March 15th at 8:00 AM, Peru Ambulance Service will be the ambulance provider serving the Dalzell community.

The Village of Dalzell Board has coordinated EMS services for our residents in partnership with Peru Ambulance to ensure continued emergency medical coverage.

Dalzell EMS will work alongside Peru Ambulance to support EMS services for our community.

As always, in any emergency please dial 911.

We appreciate the continued support of our community as we move forward with these updated service partnerships to provide reliable emergency services to Dalzell.
