Great news, Faulkner County! We are now hiring full-time Certified Patrol Deputies! Prior certification by the Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards or its equivalent from another state is required to apply for this position.

The 2024 starting salary for certified patrol deputies is $44,713.34 annually. Benefits include the following: paid medical, dental, and vision insurance; vacation, sick, and holiday time; APERS retirement after five years of service; a take-home patrol vehicle; a family working atmosphere; equal opportunity to excel; and administration with an open-door policy for all employees. Come all ye ghosts, goblins, and ghouls! Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office is excited to join the Guy Community First Reponders again this year in hosting the annual Trunk-or-Treat, which features a vehicle decoration contest, costume contest, and a chili cook-off. The event will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, at Guy City Park. We hope to see you there!
