The Friends of the Dana Point Library take an active part in the Dana Point community by providing funds that are used to purchase books, pay for the children's program and the upkeep of the library. Generous donations by people from Dana Point and neighboring cities are the reason we are able to offer a huge variety of mixed media for any age. Whether you are looking for children's books or the

latest bestseller-we usually have it and while you are with us you can also pick up a game, DVDs or your favorite CD. Our prices are some of the most competitive in the area since we want to give back to the community, as well as helping the library. We are honored that some Dana Point businesses are not only sponsors of the Friends, but more and more also provide a space for the very popular book stands. Last but not least we are immensely proud of our volunteers who, through their hard and dedicated work, make a smooth running of the Friends possible in the first place.

Volunteers Needed

Spend a few enjoyable hours volunteering at the

Bookstore each month with delightful colleagues,

wonderful patrons and colorful books – some of

which are a bit tattered (take your pick!).

We regularly hold volunteer training sessions at

10:00 am on the second Tuesday of every month.
