Today we honor and remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as those who have since passed. As we take time throughout this Memorial Day to reflect, honor, and pay tribute to our fallen heroes, we would like to share photos from last week as Post 149 prepared for this important day by placing flags at the gravesites of these brave men and women.
This effort was also part of the VFW Day of Service, continuing our commitment to serving veterans, honoring our fallen, and supporting our community through meaningful acts of remembrance and service.
We will never forget their sacrifices and will continue the tradition of remembering and honoring our fallen.
A special thank you to the Danbury Police Cadets, Danbury Police Department, State Senior Vice Commander John Kennedy and the Jason D. Lewis Post, and State Representative Ken Gucker for your support and assistance in helping us carry on this meaningful tradition. Jason D.
