Join us Saturday, June 13th on Connecticut Open House Day and take a hike! Connecticut Open House Day, now in its 22nd year, is an annual event held on the second Saturday of June.

The purpose of this event is to inspire Connecticut residents to learn about all the experiences in their own backyard, anticipating that this will convert them into ambassadors who will recommend these experiences to other visitors and to introduce or reintroduce the community to the trails at Tarrywile Park. While entry to Tarrywile Park is free to the public, CT Open House Day is a good opportunity to get out with friends and family and enjoy a scenic hike, a mountain bike ride, or a horseback ride!

As the Downtown Streetscape Project continues to transform the heart of our city, this is a great opportunity to experience the progress firsthand while supporting the small businesses, restaurants, and organizations that make Downtown Danbury such a vibrant destination.

⚠️ Traffic Advisory: Main Street will be closed between White Street and West Street from 9 AM to 7 PM to accommodate the event. Please plan accordingly, use alternate routes during your travel and consider arriving early.
