Citizens Hose Company #6 hosted a 50 Year Service Recognition Dinner at the Firehouse on Friday, June 10, 2016. The Company honored the service of the following members: Jim Stirling, 57 years; Mark Stirling, 55 years; Jack Pechaski, 55 years; Phil Colla, 55 Years; Chet Hatch, 54 years; Alan Boyce, 53 years; George Hatch, 52 years; Clif Kolwicz, 50 years.....a remarkable total of 431 years of collective service! Congratulations to all!
On hand for presentations and remarks were State Senator Mike McLachlan, Fire Chief T.J. Wiedl, Asst. Fire Chief Mark Omasta and Danbury Volunteer Firemen's Council President Charlie Coakly.
