Stokes County Hires New Assistant County Manager
Bryan S. Miller has joined Stokes County in the role of Assistant County Manager. Bryan is a seasoned public sector executive with extensive experience in county management, organizational leadership, and strategic operations. Over the course of his career, he has overseen complex governmental functions, guided major capital and infrastructure initiatives, and strengthened service delivery through data driven decision making and collaborative leadership.
Bryan’s background includes senior administrative roles in local government, private sector operational leadership as a Vice President of Operations, and more than eleven years of military service. His work has consistently focused on improving organizational performance, modernizing internal systems, and building strong partnerships with community stakeholders and regional agencies. He holds an MBA from Strayer University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Greensboro College, complemented by extensive professional development through the UNC School of Government and NC State University.
Bryan brings a leadership style grounded in accountability, innovation, and service excellence. He is committed to strengthening organizational culture, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring that county government remains responsive to the needs of residents and employees alike.
