Due to the increase in identity theft and phone scams affecting communities nationwide, our department has obtained informational pamphlets designed to help educate the public on recognizing and preventing these types of crimes.

Please feel free to stop by the Police Department to pick up a pamphlet and learn valuable tips to help protect yourself and your personal information.

Public awareness and education are important tools in preventing fraud and scams. We appreciate your continued support as we work together to keep our community informed and safe.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation and our freedoms.
From the banks of the French Broad River to our historic streets and courthouse, Dandridge remains a community built on faith, patriotism, and honor.
Today, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect, remember, and honor our fallen heroes.

Earlier today, We received intel that the Dandridge Elementary 4th graders were hosting a full-blown block party at Jefferson Park at Dandridge Nursing Home… complete with water guns and water balloons.
Naturally, we considered minding our own business… but decided against it.
So we rolled up with our own Super Soakers and chose chaos instead 💦🔫
Teachers? Got ’em.
Students? Got ’em.
Nurses? Definitely got ’em.
Safe to say nobody was spared and everybody won. No arrest were made only memories and soaked uniforms💦😂. Thanks for letting us crash the party! 🔫💦🤣

We are pleased to share our new patrol car design!

As some may have noticed, our patrol cars have been throughout the community with the old stripes removed as we transition our fleet to this new look. We are excited to finally unveil the updated design and look forward to getting all of our vehicles out in the community soon.

A big thank you to Extreme Graphics in Kodak, Tennessee for the amazing job on the new graphics package. We appreciate your hard work and professionalism!

Our Department teamed up with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Dandridge Public Works Department for a friendly game of tug of war against Dandridge Elementary’s 5th grade tug of war champions during Field Day! 💪🏽

Just like last year… we lost 🤣 These kids came ready to win!

It’s always a great day when we get the opportunity to spend time with our youth and be part of such a fun event in our community. We may have taken another loss this year, but we’ll be training hard and ready for a rematch next year!
