We are aware of a main line leak that affected a significant portion of our water system this morning.

At this time, we have isolated the leak, and the only areas expected to remain without water are Hwy 113, Buckhead Trail, Waterwood Court, and Lakeside Drive.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore service to the affected areas.

In order to safely repair a leaking water main on Zirkle Road, there is a temporary road closure on Zirkle Road from the intersections of Ailey Road to Cedar School Road. During this time, we ask that you use caution in the area and follow the traffic signs. Customers on this line will experience a temporary outage and service should be fully restored as soon as possible.

UPDATE…Water has been restored. Thank you for your patience.

The Water Department is aware of the water service issues affecting our customers. Crews are currently in the field working to locate and isolate the problem. We are making every effort to restore service as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience and understanding while repairs are being made.

We are saddened by the loss of Shawn Taylor. Shawn never met a stranger, was always positive, and represented our department well. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
