They’re people just like you: with families, jobs and active lifestyles who still find time to give back to their community. Dandridge offers a friendly environment for you to discover your capabilities and make the most of your volunteering investment. Established in 1952, the Dandridge Fire Department is a premier provider of emergency services in Jefferson County. Proctecting residents and busi

nesses from our primary response are of the Town of Dandridge and Jefferson County to east and west of Interstate 40. The response area for the Dandridge Fire Department is quiet extensive covering 103 square miles. Not only does the DFD cover the second oldest town (Town of Dandridge) in Tennessee. The response area incudes 20 miles of Interstate 40, 1 mile of Insterstate 81 and communities such as Swannsylvania and Deep Springs. We provide comprehensive fire fighting, extrication, specialized rescue, hazardous material operations and fire prevention education from our Station 1 in Dandridge located on Old Highway 92 and Station 2 located at 147 East Meeting Street. We take emergency services serious. While individuals volunteer to serve their community, our volunteers must realize that the services the department provides are a critical component of the life saving services available to the citizens of our community and for those passing through. We must be committed to providing our services 24-7. The DFD currently maintains a fleet of five engines, one 114′ tower truck, one tanker (tender), one brush/rescue truck, one brush truck, one support/rehab truck, one support car and the Fire Chief’s command unit. DFD membership is made up of 30 active volunteer firefighters. The DFD seeks volunteer to bolster its ranks. We offer a long list of benefits including in-house, local, state and national training, member incentives such as cable tv, internet, private bunk rooms and weight / cardio room. The DFD is a friendly, fun and professional atomosphere where you’ll find a second family. Did we mention that we are the busiest volunteer fire department in Jefferson County.

!!! Update this has now been CORRECTED !!!

Good Morning everyone,

We wanted to provide an update regarding an issue that has been brought to our attention concerning our donation flyer and the QR code listed on the flyer.

It has been made aware to Dandridge Fire Chief Riley and the officers that the QR code is incorrectly charging sales tax when attempting to make a donation through the QR code system. This issue is currently being looked into and should be corrected soon.

As soon as the issue has been resolved, we will provide another update.

As always, thank you all for your continued support of Dandridge Fire Department.

Today, we honor the brave.

Behind every alarm is a firefighter ready to run toward danger… when everyone else is running away.

They don’t ask who you are.
They don’t hesitate.
They just show up. Every single time.

Courage in the face of fear.
Honor in every action.
Sacrifice beyond words.

To all firefighters around the world, thank you for protecting lives, homes, and futures.

You are the reason many get a second chance.

👇 Tag a firefighter or drop a 🔥 to show respect.

A day to pause.
A day to reflect.
A day to honour.

Wherever you are, you are part of this shared moment.

Every contribution big or small makes a real difference.
