We are proud of Jefferson County High School seniors Zack Bolden and Marelly Lopez for their outstanding work as Service-Learning students!

Zack and Marelly recently spoke with freshmen about the dangers of va**ng and ni****ne addiction, sharing important information that can truly impact students’ health and future. They emphasized a powerful message — who you choose as friends matters. The people you surround yourself with can greatly influence your decisions and the path you take in life.

Their leadership, honesty, and willingness to mentor younger students made a meaningful impact on our freshmen.

Thank you, Zack and Marelly, for being such positive role models and making a difference in our school community. Keep up the great work!

We are so proud of Abi Kinsey for her incredible work on her Gold Star Girl Scout Project, the Jefferson Middle School Compassion Cupboard!

This meaningful project provides healthy snacks for students who may be hungry—because we know students learn better when their basic needs are met. Abi has truly made a difference by helping ensure students are nourished, focused, and ready to succeed.

Thank you, Abi, for your outstanding presentation at the Jefferson County Health Council and for identifying and fulfilling an important need within our school community.
