Friends of Assisi Food Pantry Helping those in need of food in the Killingly area Friends of Assisi Food Pantry has been serving those in need in the Killingly area for over 30 years.

We rely on the kindness of others with generous donations of food and monetary gifts, along with eggs and produce from our local farmers. We are named after St. Francis of Assisi. This year will be our 31st year of serving Thanksgiving baskets to those in need. Our first year we helped 25 families. Last Thanksgiving it was closer to 378 baskets.

Church, United Church of ChristAll are welcome to participate.

We are having a Yard Sale this Saturday, June 6 from 8 am to 12 pm. Donations can be dropped off today from 9am-12pm and 5pm-7pm and tomorrow Friday, June 5 from 5pm-7pm. Please no furniture, electronics, clothing or used bedding.

Friday, June 12 is Divine Dabbers (Bingo) at the South Killingly Department at 803 Providence Pike, Danielson starting at 6:30pm. Doors will open at 6pm.

Thank you to the community for leaving your bags of food out by your mailbox !! Thank you to the Danielson post office mail carriers for bringing over 1000 pounds of food to us. Thank you to the Volunteers for always sharing your time and being a blessing.

Simply place your donations near your mailbox and your postal carrier will pick them up ! They will then be brought from the Post Office to Friends of Assisi !
If you miss your carrier we will be at the pantry Saturday May 9, from 4-5. Thank you for helping your neighbors in need!
