Agriculture and civic engagement came together in the show ring at the Georgia National Fair’s Legislative Livestock Showdown on October 9! 🍀🐄

Ten members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia State Senate teamed up with 4-H’ers and FFA members to learn the art of showing dairy heifers, with their young coaches guiding them along the way!

We are proud to congratulate our very own Madison County 4-H’er Charlee Fleming, who was selected to coach Senator Randy Robertson during this special event!

Georgia 4-H is proud to be part of an experience that connects youth leadership, agriculture, and civic engagement. We are so proud of Charlee for representing Madison County 4-H and making the most of this exciting opportunity!

🍀 Cloverleaf Conference at Wahsega 4-H Center! 🍀

Our Madison County 4-H’ers had a fun-filled weekend of learning, leadership, and making memories at Cloverleaf Conference! 💚

Throughout the conference, students had the opportunity to visit the University of North Georgia, learn new line dances, explore the herpetology lab, discover more about outdoor management, and even learn how to plan a party on a budget! 🎉🐍

We are so proud of our 4-H’ers for stepping outside their comfort zones, trying new things, and continuing to grow as leaders! Experiences like these are just one of the many ways 4-H helps youth become Beyond Ready! 🍀

Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped make our Cloverleaf Officer Training a success today! We are so proud of our 4-H’ers for stepping up and investing in themselves as young leaders. 💚

Officer training is about more than learning a title or position—it’s about building confidence, communication skills, responsibility, teamwork, and the ability to serve others. These are skills our 4-H’ers can carry with them in their classrooms, schools, communities, and beyond!

We can’t wait to see these young leaders put what they learned into action this year! 🌟

Today is the big day! Three of our talented Madison County 4-H’ers are in Texas competing at the National 4-H Food Challenge!

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, teamwork, and creativity they have put into this journey. They have worked incredibly hard to make it to this stage, and we can’t wait to see them represent Madison County and on the national stage!
