Dansville Public Library NOTE: Library open M-TH 10-8pm, F 10-5pm and Sat 9-1pm. Pickup service always available by phone.

The Dansville Public Library provides free access to resources and opportunities to educate, enrich, and inspire people of all ages, in a diverse and inclusive environment. We empower people to pursue education, exploration, creativity, connections, and recreation. The Library is governed by a Board of five trustees, elected by residents of the Dansville School District. Regular Board meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 4:00pm.

Registered voters residing in the Dansville Central School District may vote on the proposed 2026-2027 Library budget from 12pm - 8p.m. Tuesday, May 12th, 2026, in the Library's Study Room #114. Voters will also have the opportunity to vote for a Trustee candidate. Absentee ballots can be received until 5pm on that day.
