As we look back on April, overall police activity throughout the community remains steady. Our officers continue to respond proactively to calls for service, conduct enforcement efforts, and maintain a visible presence throughout town.

We continue to see ongoing concerns involving youths operating e-bikes in an unsafe and disruptive manner, particularly in the downtown area. Addressing concerns related to youth activity and public safety remains a priority for the Police Department. In response, officers have increased patrols and directed enforcement at known locations where these issue are occurring, while continuing proactive engagement with riders to address concerns before situations escalate.

Our goal remains to keep the downtown area safe and welcoming for residents, businesses, and visitors. We appreciate the community’s continued support and encourage residents to report ongoing concerns so they can be addressed appropriately.
