It takes many hands to ensure our veterans are remembered.

A sincere thank you to Chief Lovell, the members of the Danvers Police Department, and VFW members John and Les Leblanc for helping place flags at the graves of veterans before Memorial Day. Their willingness to give their time and lend a hand speaks to the deep respect they have for those who served our nation.

Join us as we honor the veterans laid to rest at Walnut Grove Cemetery by helping to place American flags at their graves ahead of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸

Flagging is a long-standing Memorial Day tradition and a simple yet meaningful way to remember those who served our country. Each flag placed represents gratitude, respect, and remembrance for a life dedicated to service.

We hope you'll come out and join us in honoring our veterans and keeping this important tradition alive. ❤️🤍💙

This past week, volunteers from Daisy Troop 74104, Brownie Troop 7605, Junior Troop 83605, and members of the Danvers Catholic Collaborative came together to honor our veterans by placing approximately 1,200 American flags at veterans’ graves at St. Mary’s Cemetery. 🇺🇸

Watching the girls learn the importance of service, respect, and remembrance was something truly special.

A small flag may seem simple, but each one represents gratitude for a life of service and sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙
