Running for Danville City Council – November 2026

They’re building the future of transportation between two capitals, Raleigh to Richmond… and Danville gets nothing. This is exactly the kind of regional investment that keeps passing us by while we watch from the sidelines. Again.

How many times are we going to let them forget about Danville?

Throughout my life I’ve had multiple jobs that required a lot of traveling. Right now I’m putting in 60 to 80 hours a week and driving 8 to 10 thousand miles a month. That’s added up to 230,000 miles and over 3,500 passenger rides in the last two and a half years. I wouldn’t even call it a job. It’s a lifestyle.

This experience has given me an education you simply can’t buy. It opens your eyes and helps you understand people from every walk of life. I’ve taken people to hospice. I’ve transported the elderly and sick to hospitals and treatment. I’ve driven patients to and from drug and mental health treatment facilities. And I’ve talked with authors, professional athletes, CEOs, city leaders, economic developers, and so many young people, who I always ask why they love where they live.

You see cities big and small: the projects they’re building, the opportunities they’re chasing, what’s working, what’s stalled, and what’s just talk. Running for city council isn’t just about being aware of Danville and its issues. It’s also about knowing the opportunities within the region and nearby that can help us grow.

Driving these roads, I’ve also seen something most people in Danville haven’t connected yet: we sit right outside one of the fastest growing megaregions in the country. A megaregion is a large network of interconnected cities and metropolitan areas that function together as a single economic powerhouse, sharing transportation, jobs, and growth opportunities. This one includes Atlanta Georgia, Columbia South Carolina, Charlotte North Carolina, Greensboro North Carolina, and Raleigh North Carolina, which sits right outside Danville. The passenger train connecting Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh to DC passes right by us. Danville would benefit massively economically from that train connecting our city.

I’ve also seen how modern, growing cities build housing. They minimize land use by constructing apartment buildings with parking garages underneath them, rather than sprawling outward. Danville’s current building height restrictions make that kind of smart, modern approach difficult in much of the city. That’s something worth a real look as we think about how to grow housing and economic opportunity without sprawling further out. That kind of insight shows exactly why connectivity and proactive economic development matter so much for our future.

That’s not a knock against staying rooted in one place. But there’s real value in seeing how other communities solve problems. I bring that perspective to every conversation about Danville’s future.

Even with this schedule, I still show up for council meetings, community service, and events around the city. If you’re committed, you find the time.

Danville has unique challenges, but we also have unique opportunities. I’ve seen both play out mile after mile. That’s exactly why I’m running. 💯

Tonight I’m heading to Danville City Council and I’m coming with a full agenda.

Here’s what I’ll be speaking on:

• Water infrastructure. Danville transfers approximately $10 million from utility funds into the General Fund each year. Should more of that money stay in our water, gas, and electric systems?

• Personal property tax. A dime-per-hundred reduction is a start, but what’s the long-term plan for taxpayer relief?

• Goodyear and Jet Zero. A major aerospace opportunity is developing just 45 minutes away. Danville already has an aviation supplier on the ground. We should be positioning ourselves now.

Join the Council Chambers tonight 7pm est.

Keep it Frank.

It's official. I'm on the ballot! 🗳️

You'll find me at #8 on the ballot for Danville City Council.

Here's what I'm fighting for:

✅ Phasing out the personal property tax
🏠 Better homes for Danville families
💼 Better paying jobs in our community
🌱 Keeping our youth in Danville

I've been showing up at council meetings, asking hard questions, and fighting for this community long before I filed to run. That doesn't stop now. It's just getting started.

Keep it Frank, Danville. Let's make it count. 💪

Final push I need your signature TODAY.

I’ve been out talking to people one on one and I’m grateful for everyone who’s already signed. Now it’s crunch time.

I’ll be in the Ballou Park area all day today. Come find me or I’ll come to you and let’s get this done.

This is the last step to get on the ballot. Every signature counts. 🙏

This year we’re going to talk about real problems and real solutions.

Not talking points.

Not campaign slogans.

Not vague promises.

Danville deserves candidates who actually engage with the issues, not just mention them to check a box.
That’s the standard I’m holding myself to. And the standard I’ll hold this race to.

Tonight at Ballou Recreation Center! See you there! 💯

We know utility costs are an important topic in our community. Danville Utilities is hosting two public information meetings to share updates, answer questions, and highlight available programs and resources.
