Continental Fire Co. #3 – Danville, in partnership with us at NPRC, is offering a free two-day NFA/ATF Fire Investigation: First Responders (F-0770) course. Led by NFA/ATF instructor Brian Markovchick, this valuable training provides a foundational understanding of fire investigation practices for first responders.

This course is highly recommended for fire and emergency services personnel involved in initial fire response or preliminary origin and cause investigations. This training is also open to all state and local sworn police officers.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately then you’ve probably heard that we stand a pretty good chance of getting some pretty sizeable amounts of snow this weekend.

Now we’re not here to give a weather forecast or play into hype of what may or may not happen. We’re just here to ask you one favor.

In the event that snowmageddon does come, in between making your French toast and shoveling your own snow. Please consider adopting a fire hydrant or two that may be in your neighborhood and shovel them out as well.

When seconds could mean the difference between saving a life or a home, the last thing that your local volunteers want to have to do is shovel out a hydrant during an emergency.

We appreciate your help in the matter!

Unfortunately the boys and girl weren’t able to come home with the championship victory. With that being said, us and a few other departments from the county wanted to show them how proud we were that they made it as far as they did!
