Tomorrow is the big day!! 🍂🍁
Join us for Fall Colors Festival here at McCloud Nature Park, for October 24th, 10am-3pm. 🍁

We have so many fun FREE activities planned for all ages!

Our vendors market will include food and drink trucks as well as 20 vendors! We will have our amazing vendors, selling handmade goods.

We will also have live music for a portion of the event.

Troop 301 will be out this year will their scout camp setup for viewing and blacksmithing and saw demonstrations. 🏹

Our naturalist/volunteer led stations will offer:
Scavenger Hunts, Self-Guided Hikes, Butter Making, Candle dipping, and Letter writing!

If you came last year and added to our letter time capsule, make sure you come get your letter from last year!💌🪶

Then, of course we will have the prairie maze for folks to try to navigate and hayrides through the park.

Tickets for the hayride will be available at our welcome booth this year! 🚜🌾 All donations go to Hendricks County Parks and Recreation.

Want to help out your community this weekend and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage?

We are still seeking a few more volunteers to help out with butter making, letter writing, our archery station, and popcorn making by the campfire.

📌Fall Hallows Market, WS Gibbs Memorial Park, Danville, IN, 9am-2pm

Last market of the year at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park! We have about 20 vendors with items ranging from vintage clothes, sourdough, baked goods, spoon rings, wood crafts, beaded jewelry, suncatchers, soap, crafts and more!!! Gordos Food Truck is serving up yummy eats.
There’s something for everyone! Our park staff has candy to pass out and a halloween craft and yard games. And did we mention… free coffee? 😏

Our last market of the year at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park in Danville, IN, the Fall Hallows Market is Saturday October 17th from 9am-2pm.

This is a reminder that we have a scheduled closure of the Ray & Mary Benson Nature Center at McCloud Nature Park on Saturday, October 10th. The nature center will reopen on Tuesday, October 13th at 10am. Thank you!
