Our next Market in the Park event will be Saturday, September 12th at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park from 9am-2pm.

Come shop with all our vendors, enjoy a stroll in the park and grab a bite to eat. There's something for everyone!

Here’s a fun after school program!

Join us as we learn all about the importance of pollinators when we explore our beautiful pollinator plot at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park! 🌻🦋🐝

We will talk about all the different pollinators that may call our park home and make some fun crafts using some of our flowers!

When: Tuesday, Sept. 15th at 3-4 pm

Who’s ready to make some Keychain Critters? 🦎🐞🦝🔑

Come out and make your very own keychain! Whether you use pony beads to craft a critter or classic paracord knots and fun designs like this dragonfly, by the end of the program you’ll have a great keychain to take home.

When: Wednesday Sept. 9th, at 4pm

Just a reminder, the Ray & Mary Benson Nature Center and all public restrooms at McCloud Nature Park will be CLOSED tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st.
You are still more than welcome to come out and hike, but there will be no access to restrooms or running water on September 1st.
Power and restrooms should be restored and we will reopen September 2nd.

Come out to our Sun Printing Workshop! 🌞🖼️🌸🍀
We’ll show you how to make your very own print at McCloud Nature Park to take home with you.

There are two dates we’ll be doing the workshop: Wednesday, September 2nd and October 7th, at 4pm-5pm

Advance Registration is Required with a fee of $3/person. Anyone is welcome to come, but generally recommended for ages 8+ and adults.

Have you ever made art using the sun?

Come out to our Sun Printing Workshop to learn about how to make prints using the sun and light sensitive paper. We'll be using cyanotype techniques to create paper prints that use the light of the sun to print outlines of flowers, feathers, or whatever you may choose. Feel free to bring something of your own!

When: Wednesday, September 2nd @ 4pm-5pm
Where: McCloud Nature Park
