The Danville chapter of the American Legion Riders, is based out of American Legion Post 210 in Danville, Illinois.

Permanently closed.

The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts. They can be found participating in parades, partaking in motorcycling events, and supporting the communities in which they live, work, and play.

The American Legion Riders Post 210 are selling raffle tickets for a patriotic quilt donated by the Hand and Heart Night Quilters Club. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Please contact a Legion Rider if interested.
Drawing will be held at our annual Car and Bike Show on Saturday May 19, 2018.

Just received word that one of the three trucks bringing our wreaths will arrive tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at DNC at 8 am. If anyone can volunteer to help unload wreaths we’d deeply appreciate it.

The American Legion Riders have been invited to participate in the Veterans Memorial Wall Dedication in Ridgefarm Il. and Chrisman Il.
The ceremony begins in Ridgefarm at 10 AM CST and 11:00 AM CST in Chrisman on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
The Patriot Guard Riders will be staging at 9 AM CST in Ridgefarm with briefing at 9:15 AM.
If anyone wants to meet for breakfast/coffee and ride together we’ll meet at VIPS at 7:00 AM CST with KSU at 8:20 AM sharp CST.
At the conclusion of the ceremony in Ridgefarm we’ll ride to Chrisman for their 11 AM ceremony.
Following the ceremony in Chrisman a dinner will be served by American Legion Post 477, Women's Auxiliary at 124 North Illinois St. Chrisman, Il.

Mission Details

The family of Robert Williams have asked the Patriot Guard and the American Legion Riders to join them as they honor Robert's life and service to this country.
Mr. Williams spent 20 years in the U.S. Army and Air Force. Please join us as we give another brother his final salute.

Visitation/Funeral: 20 Oct. 2017 1000 Hrs.- 1200 Hrs ( 10:00 AM - !2:00 PM)
Staging: Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Il.
Staging Time: 0900 Hrs. (9:00 AM)
Briefing: 0915 Hrs. (9:15 AM)
Flag Line in Place: T.B.A.

Following the Funeral we will Es**rt Mr. Williams and family to Forest Park Cemetery in Georgetown for grave site services.

The ALR Post 210 have been invited to attend and participate in the Sidell Illinois Car and Bike Show Saturday October 21, 2017 from 4 pm - 7 pm CST in Sidell Illinois. Anyone wanting to ride over as a group, we’ll meet at Wanda’s parking lot in Georgetown at 3 pm and KSU at 3:10 pm.
We’ll also be presenting the donation from ALR Post 210 to the Sidell American Legion sometime around 4:30 pm.

Looking for volunteers to help with WAA Bucket Drop in Tuscola Illinois on Saturday October 7 from 9 am - 12 pm. Only 3 hours of your time is needed to help Cover All Danville National Cemetery. We'll meet at the entrance of the Tuscola Outlet Mall at 8:45 am.
"We don't know them all, but we owe them all"!

Hey folks! Don't forget, American Legion "Dornblaser" Post 203 in Georgetown, Illinois , is having a gun raffle (and many other things) to raise money to buy and have trained a PTSD service dog to help a local veteran who is suffering from the horrors of war. If you are not interested in a gun, a monetary (any amount!) donation would be super helpful! If you would like to help, please private message me and I will be honored to give you further info. If you are from another state, the gun store that is holding the fi****ms will mail them to a store near you if you win. Your states gun laws will apply. But, it's not about the guns, it's about blessing a veteran! Checks payable to: American Legion Post 203.

What an honor to meet 36 Medal of Honor recipients here in Pueblo Colorado. Pictures are of a few of the "heroes" we had the opportunity to meet.

Made it safe and sound to Pueblo Colorado for the Medal of Honor Convention. Kicking back at the hotel after 3 days of riding having a few cold beverages.
