Let’s give a massive shoutout to one of our own, Airman First Class Noah Royster!

A 2025 graduate of Magna Vista High School, Noah took the leap and shipped off to Basic Military Training on December 29, 2025. From there, it was straight to Biloxi, Mississippi for Tech School, where he mastered Human Resources Administration. 💼✨

While stationed at Keesler, Noah:

🎣 Hit the water for a ton of fishing

🎳 Crushed a brand new bowling personal best with a massive 226 score

⚾️ Became a massive Biloxi Shuckers baseball fan

Next Stop: Charleston AFB, South Carolina! Noah is officially packing up and heading to his first permanent duty station.

When asked about his favorite part of the journey so far, Noah said it’s all about the discipline he’s built and the unbeatable camaraderie among the Airmen he’s met along the way.

Big shoutout to our newest Trainee, Shalie, who shipped out to Basic Military Training this week! ✈️

Shalie is stepping up to serve as an Air Force Security Forces Defender. But she isn’t stopping there—her ultimate goal is to earn a spot on a Military Working Dog (MWD) team, handling and training the best four-legged partners in the world. 🐾⚡

Huge shoutout to Danville’s own Airman Basic Jacob Davidson! 🦅

Jacob graduated from Tunstall High School in 2025, hit Basic Military Training on February 3rd of this year, and just wrapped up his 2A531 tech school training on May 4th!

While learning the ropes of heavy aircraft maintenance is cool, Jacob says his favorite part of the Air Force so far is easily the DFAC food🥞🍔

He is currently back home helping out with the Recruiter’s Assistance Program before heading to his first duty station: McGuire AFB, New Jersey, where he’ll be a C-17 Globemaster III Crew Chief! 🛫🛠️

Welcome home, Airman Davidson, and good luck on the flight line! 🇺🇸✨

Future Airman Heading to BMT!

Big congratulations to Andrew, our newest trainee from George Washington High School (Class of 2024), who officially shipped out to Basic Military Training this week!

Andrew is entering the Air Force as a 1W031 (Weather Apprentice). He’ll be responsible for analyzing meteorological data and providing critical weather intelligence to ensure our missions are executed safely and effectively.

It was great to see such a strong support system at the station to see him off. There’s nothing like having your family behind you as you start this next chapter! We are proud to see another GW grad step up to serve. Join us in wishing him the best of luck as he begins his journey at Lackland!

Huge congratulations to A1C Dylan Sutterfield on graduating technical training!

A 2020 graduate of George Washington High School, Dylan recently completed his training at Sheppard AFB as an Aircraft Armament Systems Technician (2W131). He’s now headed to his first duty station: RAF Lakenheath, England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Dylan will be working on the F-15, ensuring our air superiority remains unmatched. For him, the best part of the Air Force is the camaraderie and the pride that comes with the mission.

He’s looking forward to his new job and the chance to travel across Europe.

Aim High, Nathan! ✈️

Huge shoutout to our newest Airman, Nathan, who is officially heading off to Basic Military Training!

Nathan is a 2025 graduate of Bassett High School and is about to start his journey as a 2A531 - Airlift/Special Mission Aircraft Maintenance specialist.

His path to the Air Force was paved with hard work and leadership. As a dedicated member of the Boy Scouts of America, Nathan earned the prestigious Eagle Scout award late last year. Because of this incredible achievement, Nathan is entering the Air Force with a head start as an Airman (E-2)!

Nathan, your community and the Air Force are lucky to have you. We can’t wait to see all the great things you’ll accomplish.

Welcome home to A1C Alicia Wilson!

We have Alicia joining our team for the next two weeks on the Recruiter Assistance Program (RAP).

Alicia’s journey started in Buffalo, NY, before she moved to Martinsville, VA, and joined the Air Force in December 2025. She has been moving fast ever since:

* Jan 29: Graduated BMT

* March 17: Graduated Tech school at Fort Lee (3F131 Services)

* Next Stop: Beale AFB, California!

The best part? Alicia says her favorite part of the Air Force is meeting people from all over the country. She is ready to trade the East Coast for the West Coast and experience everything California has to offer.

Next stop: Lackland! ✈️

It’s a proud day for the Air Force family. Peyton is officially heading off to Basic Military Training to follow in the footsteps of his father, Michael, who recently retired from service.

Peyton will be joining the ranks as a 3P031 - Security Forces specialist. While he’s ready to get to work, he’s most excited about the opportunity to see the world and start his own journey of travel and adventure.

Aim High, Peyton! We’ll see you at graduation. 🇺🇸

Huge shoutout to Airman Ferrell for stopping back home to support the Recruiters Assistance Program!

A 2021 graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School, Airman Ferrell spent a couple of years in college before deciding to level up and join the World’s Greatest Air Force in June 2025.

After crushing Tech School in Biloxi, MS, as a Network Operations Specialist (1D7X1A), he’s headed to his #1 dream sheet location: Aviano Air Base, Italy! ✈️

When asked what he’s most excited about, he said it’s the limitless opportunities the Air Force has opened up for his future.

Stop by the office this week to meet him and ask how you can trade your local commute for a view of the Italian Alps!

Taking off to basic training on this wonderful Tuesday ✈️ Krista left the nest today to soar off in her adventure in the Air Force. She joined as a mechanical aptitude index so she will be able to choose her mechanical job in basic training

From the start when I, SSgt Whitehead, first met Krista, I took notice to her positive attitude and optimism. I have no doubt she will achieve great things as time goes on! 🥹
