At Commonwealth Home Health Care, we're proud to recognize team members who make a difference far beyond the workplace.
Today we're celebrating Wade Collins, Vice President of Operations for our sister company, Fire Safe, whose lifelong commitment to serving others has made an incredible impact throughout our community and across the nation.
Wade has dedicated countless hours to volunteer fire and rescue organizations, emergency medical services, community leadership, and developing national fire safety standards. His service includes leadership with the Virginia Association of Hazardous Materials Response Specialists, the Mount Hermon Volunteer Fire Department, the Danville Life Saving Crew, Danville Riverview Rotary, Twin Springs Elementary PTO, West Main Baptist Church, and numerous other organizations committed to making our communities stronger and safer.
Whether he's helping shape national hazardous materials response standards, mentoring first responders, or giving back through local organizations, Wade leads with integrity, compassion, and a true servant's heart.

We have an immediate opening for a Fire Suppression System cleaner. Must be reliable, have some mechanical skills, and be detail oriented. OJT and professional training available. This position works mostly night hours. Hiring range is $20-25 per hour based on qualifications. Opportunities for advancement and company benefits!

Fire Safe has an immediate opening for a Fire Suppression System cleaner. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining commercial kitchen ventilation systems to prevent fires and meet code requirements. Must be reliable, have some mechanical skills, and be detail oriented. OJT and professional training available. This position works mostly night hours. Starting pay is $20 and company benefits. Opportunities for advancement!

The City of Danville is proud to recognize the 28 professionals who recently graduated from the OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Training, held in partnership with GENEDGE.

⚒️ Training covered a range of critical topics including worker protection, recordkeeping, electrical safety, machine guarding, hazard communication, bloodborne pathogens, and heat stress.
⚒️ Participants received the OSHA 30-Hour General Industry completion card issued by the U.S. Department of Labor.
