Candidate signs must be at least 100 feet from the main entrance of a polling place.

Signs within the 100-foot boundary are not permitted and will be removed in accordance with election law.

Pollwatchers are a normal and important part of the election process. They help ensure transparency and may represent candidates, political parties, or civic organizations.

A few key things to remember:

✅Pollwatchers must have proper credentials
✅They may observe the voting process
❌They cannot campaign, electioneer, or disrupt voting
❌They cannot handle election materials or equipment

Our election judges are trained to follow Illinois law and keep the process running smoothly for every voter.

Transparency, fairness, and voter confidence remain our top priorities.
