The Danville Professional Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 2532, is an organization under the International Association of Firefighters and the Virginia Professional Firefighters. The DPFFA currently has 111 members consisting of 100 paid uniformed personnel and 11 active retired members. The DPFF
A was chartered on August 8th, 1976 and consists of and represents professional firefighters of the City of Danville, VA. The DPFFA strives to maintain not only a healthy work environment for Danville's firefighters, but also contributes to the personal health and wellbeing of its firefighters and families. The DPFFA participates in a variety of local fund-raising activities and community outreach programs, and proudly participates annually in the IAFF MDA "Fill The Boot Drive."
