Back on the 18th. One of our Jr fireman took his next step in becoming an interior firefighter by completing his essentials of firefighting and his live burn at the age of 17. Once Skyler Mingle tums 18 he will be trained to be an interior firefighter. Also want to thank all of our officers for helping out with the class with our trucks and equipment. A lot of time has been spent getting this young man trained. We also like to congratulate all the other students in the class for passing.

Almost forgot to thank our Washies members that are part of Danville QRS for taking vitals and supplying rehab to all the students on that warm rainy day.

Our crew won Best Appearing And Equipped Heavy Rescue at the Warrior Run Area Fire Department 25th annual fireman’s carnival parade on Saturday. Our rescue is 8 years old now and still bring home First place. Our members keep it looking and running like a new one. We updated out equipment as a time in technology have changed. Great work by our crew.
