As many know, we work closely with law enforcement agencies. Hearing of the loss of one deputy and the injury of another is truly heartbreaking. It is a tragic reminder of the challenges and dangers faced by those who serve and protect our communities every day. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected during this difficult time, especially our brothers and sisters in law enforcement. We would like to congratulate one of our very own, Ben, on graduating Chatham high school! Ben has become an incredible asset to our fire department and has grown into an exceptional young man both on and off the scene. His dedication, character, and hard work continue to make us proud every day.
Ben plans to attend Hampden–Sydney College where he will major in Pre-Med as he pursues an exciting future ahead. We have no doubt he will continue to achieve great things and represent our department with pride.🎉🚒
