Original Post:
🚨 PUBLIC NOTICE – BOONE COUNTY 911 CENTER 🚨

The Boone County 911 Center's non-emergency administrative phone lines are currently experiencing service disruptions due to a Frontier Fiber outage affecting the Madison area.

If you have been attempting to reach us at 304-369-9913 and are unable to get through, this is the reason.

For non-emergency assistance, please call 304-369-7273 until service is restored.

Important: Our 911 emergency lines remain fully operational and are NOT affected by this outage. Please do not call 911 for non-emergency matters.

Frontier is aware of the dial tone outage and is actively working to repair the fiber cut. At this time, there is no estimated time of restoration (ETA) available.

We are also working with Frontier to have calls to 304-369-9913 forwarded to 304-369-7273 to help mitigate the issue while repairs are being completed.

We will provide updates and notify the public once normal phone service has been restored.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
