This Saturday, August 22nd at the Plainfield Eagles Aerie #3207, is Meals on Wheels largest bingo event to date.
Bringing community members together to help bridge the gap on food insecurity in Hendricks County.

Here are all the important details to note.

Doors open at 4:00pm - Yes, This is early however, lasty year we had a line out the door and want to ensure everyone has time to find a seat or purchase their ticket before bingo begins.

Buffet ($15) served at 5:00pm - This consists of Pulled, Chicken, Pulled Pork, Wings, Fruit Assortment, Mac & Cheese, Salad, Chips and a soft drink.

Bingo begins at 7:00pm

Recently, while attending a community event, I was reminded that many people may not realize just how much impact we have right here in Hendricks County or why serving this community specifically is so important to our mission.

This graph tells part of that story.

Our current clients are coming from communities throughout Hendricks County, with significant representation from
Danville (22.3%)
Plainfield (29.1%)
and Brownsburg (18.4%)

Together, these three communities represent nearly 70% of our current clients.

That matters.

It shows us that the need isn't somewhere far away.
It is right here—among our neighbors, families, friends, and community members.

We believe that when a community grows, the support systems surrounding that community need to grow with it. Our goal isn't simply to provide a service. It's to be a consistent, trusted resource for the people who call Hendricks County home.

This is why our mission matters.
This is why local impact matters.

Meals on Wheels is not a largely government funded program we rely on self pay clients, fundraising and community donations. Stamp out hunger Bingo is just one of the ways we are able to continue servicing the community we love 💗
