Today is National Take Back Day for new, used or unwanted medications! Stop by the Montour County Courthouse (253 Mill Street Danville, PA 17821) from 10am - 2pm to dispose and any medication that may be sitting around the house to ensure it’s safely disposed of.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the Montour County Law Enforcement 5K and to all who attended the Heroes Ball on March 28, 2026. Because of your support, we were able to raise an incredible $2,694.88 to donate to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Our office was honored to participate in Light to Unite today! Scouts from Troop 4077 and surrounding Troops performed a ceremony today raising three flags at the Montour County Courthouse, these flags will then be flown above The White House, The Smithsonian and in Philadelphia on The 4th of July to commemorate America’s 250th!

Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of this incredible event!

Join us tomorrow, March 22nd at 3:00 PM at the Montour County Admin Building (435 E. Front Street Danville, PA) for a great free training opportunity open to the public!

Prep EM Wild is teaching an Advanced First Aid/ Stop the Bleed Class that will help empower everyone with knowledge and skills that could save a life! This course is great for those who spend time in the outdoors, those who work with machinery or in factories, or just anyone looking to be prepared for an emergency.

This class requires no registration, has no charge and again is open anyone regardless of the County you live in. Prep EM Wild will also have their medical kits available for sale at the training as well!

Our Advanced First Aid / Stop the Bleed Training Course is 6 days away! This course is offered completely free thanks to Prep EM Wild and no registration is required and it is open to anyone interested in learning valuable, lifesaving skills.

The course will be held March 22nd, 2026 at 3:00pm at the Montour County Admin Building (435 E. Front Street Danville, PA 17821).

Medical Kits will be available for purchase from Prep EM Wild before and after the seminar. We hope to see you there!

March 22nd, 2026 at 3:00 PM we will be holding a free Advanced First Aid / Stop the Bleed Training for the public! This training is being put on by Prep EM Wild and will feature training on all the skills below.

The training will be held at 435 E. Front Street Danville, PA 17821 (Montour County Admin Building). No registration needed. We urge the public to take advantage of learning these free lifesaving skills. Stop the bleed courses can be beneficial to farmers, outdoorsmen, those who work with heavy machinery, and more.

We hope this opportunity will better empower our community to be prepared.
