In between running 3 calls in 5 hours yesterday, crews worked to fill the Sunnybrook Pool. Calls included a vehicle accident with Station 80, a tractor trailer fire at the I-80 West Rest Area, and a brush fire with Station 100.

We had the privilege to host this event yesterday for students to complete their Co-Op Program. 4 out of 5 students participating are members of the VTFD. They are now interior certified!

Thank you to Station 100 for providing their tanker for the day and additional Valley and East End members for participating to make the day a success!

The students are part of the Montour County EMA Co-Op, which started for the first time in August.

Crews assisted the Montour County Coroner and State Police with patient extrication and traffic control in the area of Roberts Lane.

Crews again assisted Montour County Coroner and State Police with patient extrication at the Danville Suites Hotel later in the evening.

Late at night, crews were dispatched to assist Bloomsburg FD with a multi alarm structure fire.
