Any burn believed to be worse than a first-degree burn should be seen by a medical professional immediately. Quick treatment reduces the risk of an infection that could complicate recovery. The 4Cs of burn care — cooling, cleaning, covering, and comforting — offer a game plan for the all-important initial treatment of burns. Each step plays a role in reducing damage, limiting complications and healing.

Great evening at the Fischer last night! So happy to see so many organizations represented offering hope and help to our community!

Michelle Nelson, our Vice President of Clinical Services, attended Roads to Recovery, a docuseries that highlights stories of hope, healing, and recovery from Vermilion County residents with lived experience, at the Historic Fischer Theatre, presented by ROSC.

We are grateful for opportunities like this to listen, learn, and help reduce stigma surrounding addiction through education and connection.
