Vermilion County residents on SNAP benefits now have access to low-cost fresh produce through the Carle Health Mobile Market. 🥬 🫑 🍎

Also, the market is accepting donations of fresh produce from local gardeners and growers who find themselves with an abundance of fresh items. Donations of produce or shelf stable items will be given free to shoppers.

Dear Vermilion County Citizens, a gentle reminder from the Coroner‘s Office. During the inclement weather, turn on your headlights. Not your parking lights, not your auxiliary lights, not your daytime running lights. Those are not adequate to be seen by other drivers! With automatic daytime running lights your taillights do not turn on. I cannot tell you how many near accidents I have witnessed today alone. IT IS ILLINOIS LAW. Please be smart and safe out driving today and everyday! Thank you!
