6th Grade Forge Camp was a total success!

We had the best time welcoming our incoming 6th graders to DMS! Our new middle schoolers got a head start on the year by cracking lock combinations at our locker station, racing through an escape room to learn all about their core teachers, and discovering our cool elective classes with a building-wide scavenger hunt. Most importantly, they got to hang out, laugh, and make new friends!

Thank you to every 6th grader who came out to join in on the fun. You are going to do amazing things at DMS this year!

Today is Induction day for all of our amazing new hires at DASD. Pictured are our Mentor teachers Mrs. Varano and Dr. Worhach supporting new teachers Mr. Schmid, Miss Lee, and Miss Renno as they spend the day getting to know the district and preparing for students to arrive!
