On Monday night, August 3, 2026, during the City Council meeting, the 2026–2027 Daphne Junior City Council was officially sworn in! 🎉 Congratulations to the following new members:

Emery Capstraw, Lakyn Coggin, Sloane Dyess, Anna Grace Goffinet, Brielynn Green, Amber Lue, Schuyler Smith, Aveline Sturzu, and Emma West!

Congratulations to this outstanding group of young leaders! We look forward to seeing the ideas, enthusiasm, and dedication they'll bring as they serve our community! 👏

Come and enjoy a special event filled with family fun, history, and a very special performance by the Alabama Army National Guard Band!!

Only a few more days! ⏳ We are so excited to be partnering with Baldwin County, AL Commission to celebrate America 250!🇺🇸

On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the Junior City Council—along with Mayor Robin LeJeune, Troy Strunk, and City Clerk Cindy Beaudreau—traveled to our state capital! 🏛️✨

The group toured the Alabama Department of Archives and History, the Supreme Court, and the Alabama State House—all graciously arranged by State Rep. Matt Simpson!

While at the Alabama State House, the group viewed the session in action and was present for a vote! Representative Matt Simpson acknowledged our Junior City Council prior to the vote and personally gave the group a tour of the State House! 👏🇺🇸
