The City of Daphne Municipal Election Day is ONE WEEK from today, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. π˜Όπ™‘π™‘ π™«π™€π™©π™šπ™§π™¨ π™žπ™£ π˜Ώπ™žπ™¨π™©π™§π™žπ™˜π™©π™¨ 1-6 π™¬π™žπ™‘π™‘ π™«π™€π™©π™š 𝙖𝙩 π™©π™π™š π˜Ώπ™–π™₯π™π™£π™š π˜Ύπ™žπ™«π™žπ™˜ π˜Ύπ™šπ™£π™©π™šπ™§!

Mayor Robin LeJeune and District 7 City Council candidate Jennifer Green are unopposed and will NOT appear on a ballot. We encourage everyone to come out and vote for their city council representative, as every vote really does count!

Please note: all voters who are over 70 years old or have a physical impairment may move to the front of the voter line.

Per the Daphne City Clerk, Candace Antinarella, "Once the polls close on Election Day at 7:00 PM, the Inspector will run the result tape on all ballot counting machines. One copy of the tapes will be posted on the exterior door of the polling site (Daphne Civic Center) and another copy of the tapes will be taken to post at Daphne City Hall. At that time, a preliminary tabulation will be created and will be posted on the City's website and social media (expected to be at approximately 8:00 PM, depending on how long it takes to close up the polls). The official canvassing of votes will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 in the City Council Chambers at Daphne City Hall. Any provisional ballots that have been tabulated by the Board of Registrars will be opened and hand-counted at that time. The final vote will be tabulated and posted online immediately following the meeting."

The Junior City Council was tasked with a Scavenger Hunt over their two day tour. They were randomly placed in three groups of three with simple rules. As they found an item they had to take a photo with the 3 team members. Group 1 (Emma, Schuyler & Emery) found 39 of the 40 items to take a prize and bragging rights! It added extra fun to the day and made them pay more attention to details and their surroundings and to think outside the box.
