We are wearing green for mental health awareness month!

Imagine if we cared for our minds with the same consistency we care for the rest of our bodies.

We schedule checkups.
We notice physical pain.
We rest injuries.
We fuel our bodies.
We have an annual medical screening..
We go to the dentist twice a year or more..
We have annual eye health appointments..

THIS IS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS

Many people push through exhaustion, anxiety, overwhelm, grief, burnout, and chronic stress as if it’s “normal.”

Your brain affects how you think, feel, connect, cope, work, parent, sleep, and show up in everyday life.

Mental health is health.

What might change if we treated mental wellness with the same importance as physical wellness?

Imagine if we prioritized mental health the way we prioritize all other things..

Let’s prioritize our mental health, too!

Just a reminder to wear green tomorrow in support of mental health awareness month!!!

Mental health is no longer something we can afford to address only in crisis.

In 2026, anxiety, burnout, loneliness, emotional exhaustion, and stress-related health concerns continue to impact our homes, workplaces, relationships, and communities at alarming rates.

Yet one of the strongest protective factors research continues to show is this: connection and support matter.

At EAP Lifestyle Management, LLC, we believe mental health support should be proactive, accessible, and human-centered — not just something people seek when they’ve reached their breaking point.

This is the call to action for employers, leaders, parents, and communities:

•Normalize conversations around mental health
•Invest in prevention, not just crisis response
•Create workplaces where people feel supported, valued, and safe
•Encourage healthy boundaries, connection, and emotional wellness
•Remind people they do not have to carry everything alone

Supporting mental health is not just good for business — it is essential for healthy people, healthy families, and healthy communities.

Together, we can help turn awareness into action.

Baldwin County Commission Proclaims Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week

Today, the Baldwin County Commission recognized May 3–9 as Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, highlighting the importance of supporting the mental and emotional well-being of children in our community.

Strong mental health helps children succeed at home, in school, and in life. This week is a reminder to listen, support, and connect children with the resources they need to thrive.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month — a reminder that mental health matters just as much as physical health. 💚

At EAP Lifestyle Management, we believe caring for employees means supporting the whole person — emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and no one is meant to carry stress, burnout, grief, anxiety, or hardship alone.

This month, we encourage you to:
• Check in with yourself
• Reach out to someone you trust
• Prioritize rest and healthy boundaries
• Support one another with compassion
• Remember that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness

Mental health awareness is not just about conversations — it’s about creating workplaces and communities where people feel seen, supported, and valued every day.

“You don’t have to struggle silently, we are here every step of the way.”
