Located on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, Daphne is perhaps most famous for being one of the few places in the world to experience the phenomenon known as a “Jubilee”. This event brings blue crabs, shrimp and fish into the shallow waters of the shoreline, just waiting to be scooped up by those waiting to fill their ice chests, thus giving us the title “The Jubilee City.” (This is the official page for the City of Daphne, Alabama.)

Growing up in Daphne means watching your hometown grow and change—and sometimes, choosing to be part of what comes next. Luke Arnold shares why he came back to serve the community that raised him. After attending Daphne schools from kindergarten through high school and graduating from the University of Mobile, he knew he wanted to help guide the continued growth of the neighborhoods he grew up in. For Luke, he’s giving back to the community he loves while helping to shape the future of the place he’s always called home! ✨
