Warning signs of physical abuse
Bruises, black eyes, welts, lacerations, or rope marks
Bone fractures, broken bones, or skull fractures
Open wounds, cuts, punctures, untreated injuries in various stages of healing
Sprains, dislocations, or internal injuries/bleeding
Broken eyeglasses/frames, physical signs of being subjected to punishment, or signs of being restrained
Laboratory findings of medication overdose or under-utilization of prescribed drugs
An older adult’s sudden change in behavior
The caregiver's refusal to allow visitors to see or speak to an older adult alone
An older adult’s report of being hit, slapped, kicked, or mistreated

Today, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a sacred reminder that freedom has always come at a cost.

As we gather with family, reflect in gratitude, and celebrate community, may we never forget those who gave their lives so that we could live ours with purpose, opportunity, and hope.

Congratulations to the inaugural graduating class of Wilmington University Farnan School of Law! 🎓 .wilmu

Watching this milestone has been both inspiring and motivating. I look forward to joining you soon. I am one-fourth of the way there.

This past year has been an incredible journey filled with growth, reflection, perseverance, and purpose. It has truly been an honor to study alongside such phenomenal faculty, dedicated staff, and exceptionally talented students.
