📚 Mrs. Lott, library media specialist, recently attended the annual Arkansas Association of Instructional Media (AAIM) Conference, where she continued to serve and support the school library profession across the state.

As an elected AAIM Board Member and Scholarship Chair, Mrs. Lott played an active role in the conference and shared her expertise by presenting two professional learning sessions. One of her presentations reached maximum capacity, reflecting the strong interest in the ideas and strategies she shared with fellow educators and librarians.

During the conference, Mrs. Lott was also recognized with the Pat McDonald Outstanding Individual Achievement Award. This award is presented annually to one AAIM member who has demonstrated leadership in promoting media programs and practices that improve the use of media in instruction. The honor recognizes outstanding contributions to school library programs and educational excellence throughout Arkansas.

Through leadership, professional service, and a commitment to innovative library programs, Mrs. Lott continues to represent our district and school community while supporting student learning both locally and statewide.

DHS is requiring Summer EBT recipients to reset PINs in response to theft reports

The Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) will require all Summer EBT (SEBT) recipients to reset the PIN numbers associated with their cards in response to reports of theft of these benefits from out-of-state scammers.
Eligible families should reset their PINS through the EBT call line at 1-800-997-9999 or through the online portal linked at ar.gov/summerebt effective immediately. The cards will not work until this additional step has been completed in order to prevent additional fraudulent activity.

This afternoon, there was a Dardanelle School bus accident on Highway 27 by Walmart. The bus driver and her grandson who were on the bus are safe and ok at this time.
