NORTH OF UNION STREET: Installation of new water main will continue extending to POPLAR Street. 2nd Street from MAPLE to POPLAR will be closed during construction. Installation of curbing and driveway access on North 2nd Street continues from UNION Street through HICKORY Street.

North 2nd Street will be CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC while these sections are under construction. Local traffic will retain access to homes and businesses. SOUTH OF UNION STREET: The final layer of paving of South 2nd Street has been completed. 2nd Street from Union Street to Lower Danville Road is now OPEN to THROUGH traffic once again. Pavement striping will be scheduled soon weather permitting. We are so grateful for all your patience and cooperation during the construction process.

NORTH OF UNION STREET: Installation of new water main will continues extending to POPLAR Street. Installation of curbing and driveway access will continues from UNION Street to ROCK Street.

South 2nd Street will be closed to through traffic during paving. Local traffic will retain access to homes and businesses. Please use caution when driving through the construction zone. NORTH OF UNION STREET: Installation of new water main will continue extending to POPLAR Street. On Wednesday, May 13 installation of curbing and driveway access will begin from UNION Street to ROCK Street.

Kaspers and Tarascos on Front Street and Fowlers on North 2nd Street are exceptional mainstays of Dardanelle’s dining scene. All these businesses remain open and accessible during construction and they are ready to welcome you in to experience all the amazing offerings on their menus. Departing Tarascos and Kaspers proceed down Front Street to Long Street and Lower Danville to access 3rd Street or 5th Street. Fowlers continues to be accessible from North Front Street. There’s a world of GREAT food in Dardanelle. Make a plan. SEE YOU THERE!!!

DIG Dardanelle Project: On mid-morning Wednesday, March 25 in order to excavate and install new 16” water main beneath Union Street, both North 2nd Street and South 2nd Street will be closed at Union Street. Union Street will remain open as usual. Access to North and South 2nd Streets will be available via Front Street and 3rd Street.
