DIG Dardanelle CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:

Tomorrow, July 21, North 2nd Street will be closed to THROUGH TRAFFIC between HICKORY STREET and POPLAR STREET to repair a broken sewer line at North 2nd Street and MAPLE STREET. Access to driveways may be briefly affected while construction is underway, but will be accessible. Please use CAUTION while driving through the affected area.

🇺🇸 Join Us for Dardanelle’s 4th of July Celebration! 🇺🇸

We invite everyone to come celebrate Independence Day with us at Veteran’s Memorial Park on the river!

Here’s the schedule for the evening:

💦 2:00–8:00 p.m. – Water Slide
🌮 Around 5:30 p.m. – Food trucks open
🎶 6:30 p.m. – Live music begins and continues until the fireworks
🎆 Approximately 9:15 p.m. – Fireworks Display

Bring your family, your friends, and your lawn chairs for an evening of great food, live entertainment, and an incredible fireworks show.

Everyone is welcome, and we hope to see you there as we celebrate the Fourth of July together!

Traffic Update for Dardanelle

Here’s a heads-up on a couple of roadway updates for our community.

I’m being told that the Arkansas Department of Transportation plans to begin a grinding and paving project on Union Street starting Sunday night. As work gets underway, please use caution in the area, expect some traffic delays, and be patient as crews work to improve the roadway.

Also, we’re happy to report that a large portion of North 2nd Street will open this afternoon, including the section up to West Street. We appreciate everyone’s patience throughout this project and thank the construction crews for their hard work.

Thank you for your continued patience as these important improvements move forward.
