The Darien Patch covered the unveiling of the Darien Heritage Trail’s 4 newest markers at historical sites (link in bio). We had a great time with everyone who came out to participate in the ribbon cuttings. Principal Keri Snowden and some students joined us at Hindley School, and we had a nice crowd at Tilley Pond Park, where we had coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts.
The Darien Heritage Trail is a 200th Birthday gift to our town—launched by the 2020 Bicentennial Committee and funded by a $40,000 grant from The Darien Foundation.
A very big thank you to Shannon Silsby, our DHT Project Manager!
