A place to meet friends. A reason to stay downtown a little longer. An evening by the river, with music bringing us together. 🎶

From all of us at the Darien Downtown Development Authority, thank you to everyone who helped bring eight waterfront concerts to life from March through October.

A special thank-you to the Darien Lions Club for their dedication to this series and their continued service to our community. Through music and their Hunger Initiative, they brought people together while helping neighbors in need.

We’re grateful to the Waterfront Concert Committee and our fellow sponsors: City of Darien, Darien-McIntosh Chamber of Commerce, Darien Telephone, Sea to Sea Printing, and The Darien News.

We also appreciate River’s Edge and Tabby House Brewing Company for welcoming concerts indoors when rain moved in—and for each donating 10% of bar proceeds during those concerts to the Lions Club Hunger Initiative.

To every musician, volunteer, community partner, and concertgoer—thank you for making Darien’s waterfront a place to gather and giving our community something to look forward to. 💙

After watching the forecast closely, we’ve made the decision to move Saturday’s concert indoors due to the 90% chance of rain expected along the coast.

But don’t worry — THE MUSIC WILL GO ON! 🎸🔥
