Winter’s not over yet ❄️ Blizzard Warning today 1 p.m. through 6 p.m. Monday. In case of emergency, please dial 911. This account is not monitored 24/7.

See important information from & Darien Public Works regarding the blizzard warning in effect.

- Avoid on-street parking for the duration of the storm. Overnight street parking is banned from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. to allow for safe and effective snow and ice removal. The parking ban is in effect until March 1. Violations may result in a $99.00 fine.

- Please make every effort to stay home and off the roads during the storm to allow DPW to clear the roads.

-DPW expects to make multiple passes. Plan your shoveling with that in mind.

-All DPW resources are currently focused on storm preparation.
All other issues are not a priority at this time.

-Important information from the Town will be communicated via

NHFD members train every Sunday morning at 10am no matter the temperature! This morning, members utilized Woodway Country Club’s frozen pond to strengthen their cold water rescue skills. Use caution on frozen lakes/ponds as the snow and ice begin to melt.
