Another snow dump coming. Blizzard Warning has been issued by the Nation Weather Service starting at 6am Sunday Feb 22 until 6pm Monday Feb 23. Be prepared for drifting snow and sustained winds of 30mph. This is a dangerous storm. This a another French Toast Storm.

Game on! This storm is coming with some below zero wind chills. 20 minutes of exposure to unprotected skin will result in frostbite. So for all you walkers and joggers, you might consider this a by weekend.

This weekend is bringing a storm to remember.....at least that is what the meteorologists are telling us. What can't be denied:

1. There will be snow and ice.
2. There will be dangerously low temps.

Wear layers. Get you milk, bread and eggs early for this French Toast storm. While you are at it, make sure you have sufficient medication for a couple ways if you have prescriptions.

Have a snow removal plan. If the worst case scenario plays out there may be 18 inches of snow. If you must shovel, know your limits. Make sure you take frequent breaks. Protect your exposed skin. Frost bite is no joke.

If you are lucky enough to own a snow thrower bear in mind that spinning blades and fingers DO NOT MIX.

You know what? It's going to snow. The weather prognosticators are predicting 6-10" of the slippery white stuff at rates of 1-2" per hour starting at dinner time tonight and tapering off in the wee small hours of the morning. This sounds like a good reason to just stay home. Driving will, to put it bluntly, suck. In the morning when you wake to a winter wonderland, before you start shoveling, know your limits. Don't over exert yourself. Take frequent breaks. Better yet, know the name and number of someone who will shovel or plow for you. Did I mention it will be slippery? Salt and sand are your friends, gravity is not.
