🦁💙 A HUGE SHOUT-OUT TO OUR DARIEN WATERFRONT CONCERT COMMITTEE & SPONSORS! 🎶🙌
What started with a call to action from the Downtown Development Authority turned into something truly special for our community! From March through October, the Darien Lions Club helped bring EIGHT amazing shows to life through the Darien Waterfront Concert Series! 🎸🎤
To our incredible committee: JOB WELL DONE! 👏 You stepped up, embraced something new, and helped create an experience that brought our community together through music, fellowship, and service.
Did the weather always cooperate? Absolutely not! 🌧️ But did we let that stop the music? NOT A CHANCE! Thanks to the hospitality and support of our local waterfront establishments, River’s Edge and Tabby House Brewing Company, the show went on—even when Mother Nature had other plans!
💙 THANK YOU TO THE SPONSORS WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE! 💙
This concert series would not have happened without the generosity, partnership, and support of:
👏 City of Darien
👏 Downtown Development Authority
👏 Darien-McIntosh Chamber of Commerce
👏 Darien Telephone
👏 Sea to Sea Printing
👏 The Darien News
Thank you for believing in this vision, investing in our community, and helping us bring live music to Darien!
These concerts were about so much more than entertainment. They supported local businesses, strengthened community connections, and created opportunities to give back through the Darien Lions Club Hunger Initiative. 🥫
❤️ A special thank-you to River’s Edge and Tabby House for helping us keep the music going indoors when the weather didn’t cooperate, and to both River’s Edge & Tabby House for supporting our Hunger Initiative through a donation of 10% of bar proceeds during the indoor concerts 🎵
To our committee members, sponsors, musicians, volunteers, community partners, and every person who came out to enjoy a show—THANK YOU! Every contribution, big or small, helped make this season a success.
We took a chance, stepped outside our comfort zone, and proved what can happen when people come together with a vision and a heart to serve.
🎶 EIGHT SHOWS. ONE AMAZING COMMUNITY. COUNTLESS REASONS TO BE PROUD! 🦁💙
From all of us at the Darien Lions Club, thank you for helping make the Darien Waterfront Concert Series a reality. We are proud of what we accomplished together and look forward to what the future holds!
