We received this note from the DuPage County Health Department, and we had to share it! Thank you to everyone who donated to Operation Dropbox—this is what your donations contributed to.

The note reads:

“Dear Indian Prairie Public Library,

Thank you to you and your facility for supporting Operation Dropbox! Your help in promoting the project and serving as a donation site played a key role in making our first year a tremendous success. Thanks to the DuPage County community, we collected more than 1,700 individual items with a total value of $5,874.20.

Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans is incredibly grateful for this outpouring of support and is excited to stock their Freedom Commissary with these generous contributions.

We are truly grateful for your partnership and the compassion you’ve shown to our community.

Thank you for helping make a meaningful difference.

—DuPage County Health Department”
