A big thank you to our awesome adult advisors who filled the ranks last Wednesday for an “Adult Takeover” so that our hard working student Posties could enjoy a well-earned day off.

If you see a Postie around town over the next month and a half of summer, please be sure to thank them for their service!🚑🌟

🚑🚨Standing by, ready to respond🚑🚨

This past weekend, our dedicated Darien EMS crews were on standby to provide support during a structure fire in our community.
We’re proud to highlight our new Special Operations Vehicle, which was deployed in support of the incident. This valuable addition to our fleet was funded in part through the generous support of the Darien Foundation. Their investment helps ensure our crews have the specialized equipment and resources needed to respond safely and effectively to complex emergencies.
Thank you to our members, our public safety partners, and the Darien Foundation for helping us continue our mission of serving the community.

A huge thank you to Post 53 adult advisor Connor Fitzpatrick, Dr. Ryan Stanton and the incredible American Medical Response Motorsports Safety Team for giving our members an unforgettable behind-the-scenes look at race day operations at the LiUNA 150 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Lime Rock Park! 🏁🚑

From seeing the specialized equipment, vehicles, and coordinated response firsthand, our members learned that emergency medicine extends far beyond the walls of an emergency department. We gained a new appreciation for the preparation and teamwork required to keep drivers, crews, and fans safe.
