COMING SOON! The best chicken BBQ you'll ever taste!
With a goal of having our own WMC run Before/After School Program for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year, we have spent months on our licensing application process and trying to hire staff. It became obvious that hiring staff that met the requirements of the MD State Dept of Education Office of Child Care and also our Diocese requirements for staffing, hours, and benefits would not be easy.
Wanting to explore all options, we also reached out to the 3 agencies currently providing child care to the Harford County Public School system. Unfortunately, due to staffing issues and low child participation rates, we have no viable options for a Before/After School Program.
We are very disappointed with this outcome, but know that every option was considered. We urge all parents of Darlington Elementary School students to contact the school/PTA and try to get a program on school property.
All of the parents wishing to participate in the program who provided contact information have been individually notified. Thank you to all of the parents for their patience and understanding during this process.
UPDATE: ALL GONE!

21 June 2018!! Come out for a family concert. Outdoor activities, i.e., games, face painting, etc., start at 6 pm. Proceeds benefit WMC operations. Milkshake's show is an interactive and inspiring performance that encourages attendees to "be a part of the band" and join in the music-making. Creative expression is encouraged with every song, as young children interpret different styles of music and respond to singing games, which introduce beat, tempo, and rhythm. Milkshake’s 2009 CD, "Great Day", was nominated for a Grammy for Best Musical Album for Children. Even if you don't have kids or grandkids you'll still love this show. Tell all your friends and neighbors! Please share!
If you or someone you know have children they would like to enroll in our WMC Before & After School Program, please use the link below to send a message to WMC. Please include the following information in your message: parent/guardian name and grade(s) the child(ren) will be in for 2018-2019 school year. Thank you!

Due to inclement weather, we are canceling the Afternoon With Friends event scheduled for tomorrow, 21 March.
Hosanna School Museum is hosting an Open House on Saturday, 24 March.
From Roxann Redd-Wallace:
Just a quick note to any "Hat Ladies" out there. Peter Byrd, a local Milner (hat maker) will be at Hosanna School Museum on
Saturday, March 24, 2018 during our Open House, displaying and selling his beautiful "Crowns".
His hats are "absolutely amazing" and all custom made with fashionistas in mind. If you don't wear hats yourself but your Mom, Sister or Sista Girl does, it would be a great time to purchase one for her just in time for Easter.
Men, don't forget Mother's Day is just around the corner as well. Why not surprise that special someone with a crown to match that new purse or pair of shoes?
Stop by Hosanna on the 24th between 12 p.m and 3 p.m. to chat with Peter and view his creations.
Please pass this information on to your friends and family, I appreciate any help you can give in getting the word out.
