Summer Reading is Here for All Ages! πŸ“šβ˜€πŸ˜Ž 🎧
From June 1st to August 31st, readers of all ages who read for 10 hours can stop by the library for a prize - kids & teens get a free book and a sticker, adults get a tote bag. Any and all reading counts!

Last summer, Darrington readers broke a library record with our highest number of finishers ever! This year, we leveled up our prize books and are back with more exciting titles than ever. Stop by to pick up a reading log or to claim your prize.
Happy Reading! πŸ“– https://www.sno-isle.org/summer-reading/

This year’s Sno-Isle Reads Together title is ...
"Remarkably Bright Creatures" by Shelby Van Pelt!πŸŽ‰πŸ“šπŸ™

Join this annual community reading program designed to spark meaningful conversations and connection through the power of storytelling.

Born and raised in Washington, Van Pelt’s luminous debut novel follows widow Tova Sullivan, who forms an unlikely friendship with a giant Pacific octopus reluctantly residing at the Sowell Bay Aquarium. Set in the Pacific Northwest, the novel explores grief, connection, and community as Tova searches for answers surrounding her son’s disappearance 30 years earlier.
