Our history goes back to 1980, when STAT Ambulance started serving the Town of Dartmouth, MA. In 2008, with CEO Carol Mansfield at the helm, STAT established Southcoast Emergency Medical Services to provide Basic and Advanced Life Support services to area hospitals, colleges, nursing homes, and private patients. After expanding into Rhode Island in 2010, we acquired Coastline Ambulance in 2012, which effectively doubled our fleet, allowing us to serve you in greater numbers and increased reliability.
