Amid the preparations for the benefit, we had some very special visitors come to the fire hall today. Dassel Elementary classes in kindergarten, first, second and third grade all walked to the fire station to see the trucks. Some of those kids felt extra special because they had a dad or grandpa on the department!

If you are planning to come to the benefit tomorrow but don’t know where our fire hall is, it’s located at 426 2nd St N Dassel MN. We will have 2nd street blocked off. There is parking along Atlantic Ave, 1 block south of Hwy 12.

We anticipate people may have to park a few blocks away at Dale Grochow’s benefit tomorrow. Thanks to Custom Golf Carts of MN for providing shuttle service around town to drive you to and from the fire hall! Look for their golf carts driving around and flag them down if you want a ride.
