**Reminder** If you are interested in pursuing a career as a dispatcher/corrections officer or as a patrol officer applications are due this Friday, May 29th for civil service testing on June 4th. This morning, the City of Davenport reported a burglary at the Davenport Cemetery Shop with a missing zero turn lawnmower valued at $18,000. Deputies responded and quickly developed a suspect vehicle with the help of flock safety cameras. LCSO deputies contacted our counterparts at the Spokane Police Department to request assistance in locating the suspect vehicle. SPD Officers responded to the suspect's residence where the stolen lawnmower was located. The suspect took off from the residence as law enforcement arrived and has not been located at this time. The report has been sent to the prosecutor's office requesting criminal charges be filed on this suspect and we are happy to report the lawnmower has been returned to the City of Davenport undamaged.

We want to thank SPD for your assistance today. Theft cases and associated arrests have been on the rise, and we appreciate our citizens keeping an eye out and reporting suspicious activity to dispatch at 509-725-3501. 🙏

Sharing for all who followed Vicki's page and knew our friend, Vicki Holt. Vicki was a special soul and we are grateful for her life and all of the years she spent on her page sharing information. Her selfless efforts in this endeavor helped get information out quickly and oftentimes lightened the burden on our dispatch center during an emergency. Vicki was a friend to many, willing to help anyone if she could, and always supported LCSO! We want to recognize her contribution to Lincoln County Citizens and offer our thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. We will all miss you "Ms. Vicki" 🙏❤️🙏
